This field involves the development and application of AI techniques, particularly deep learning and computer vision, for the analysis of medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasound images. AI-powered models are capable of detecting and classifying diseases such as cancer, pneumonia, brain tumors, diabetic retinopathy, and more with high precision, often matching or exceeding the accuracy of human experts.
