About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering , from IIT KHARAGPUR , is accepting interns interested in the field of Mechanical Engineering, in the research area of Propulsion.

The project focuses on tackling key challenges in turbomachinery through innovative research, in collaboration with industry leaders and government agencies, to create benefits at both national and global levels. I am seeking motivated undergraduate students for a Research Assistant internship in the field of turbomachinery. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and gain valuable industrial experience. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter who can take initiative, work with minimal supervision, and have a can-do attitude. Candidates should have basic knowledge of CAD software, fluid mechanics, turbomachines, commercial software packages and their application to turbomachines, and MATLAB. For experimental work, one should have hands-on experience with different machining processes and LabView software.
