Frequently Asked Questions

Konnifel is a global research platform that connects aspiring researchers — students, graduates, and young professionals — with professors, scientists, and research institutions worldwide. It facilitates research assistantships, fellowships, internships, and academic collaborations.

The Research Readiness Aptitude Test (RRAT) is an online, proctored assessment conducted through the Konnifel platform. It evaluates your foundational research thinking, analytical skills, and domain aptitude. The test is scheduled after completing the enrollment form and membership payment.

To become a Konnifel member, simply complete the one-time Enrollment process by filling out the enrollment form, paying the enrollment fee, uploading the required documents, and completing the RRAT assessment. Once your profile is verified and your RRAT score is generated, you can begin applying for research internship opportunities on the platform.

Candidates are required to upload their resume/CV, Class 12 marksheet, and their highest academic qualification marksheet or transcript available at the time of enrollment. If applicable, candidates may also upload published research papers, research publications, or internship certificates to strengthen their profile and support the verification process.

Any student (high school, undergraduate, or graduate), researcher, or young professional interested in research opportunities can apply on Konnifel. The platform serves candidates from all academic disciplines and backgrounds across the globe.

RRAT- Research Readiness and Aptitude Test is a standardized Test consisting of a Computer Test and an Online Interview. The Computer Test assesses your subject knowledge upto your education level, your basic understanding of fundamental research skills and your profiency in the skills selected by you in the Enrollment form. The Online Interview broadly understands your interest in research, interest in working with professors and your work ethic. The purpose of RRAT is to give a candidate a common and objective way to display their merit to professors, and to give research institutes, senior professors, mentors, and organizations a common data point to assess all applicants. The RRAT is included as part of the Konnifel Membership. There is no separate registration fee for the RRAT exam — it is covered under your membership plan once you complete the enrollment process.

Konnifel members can apply for research assistantships, academic fellowships, research internships, collaborative projects, and academic collaborations with professors, scientists, doctors, and researchers across universities, hospitals, laboratories, and research institutions worldwide.
