This position applies advanced deep learning architectures to the complex, non-linear datasets generated by Electric Vehicles (EVs). The project focuses on building predictive and prescriptive models across five core EV domains: battery health diagnostics, energy consumption forecasting, intelligent routing, predictive maintenance, and dynamic grid integration. The selected candidates will translate raw sensor telemetry into actionable, real-time intelligence, culminating in high-quality research submissions to reputed engineering journals. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Collect, clean, and preprocess multi-modal EV datasets, including time-series battery data (voltage, current, temperature) and spatial-temporal transit logs. 2. Develop recurrent or transformer-based deep learning models to accurately estimate State of Health (SOH) and predict Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of lithium-ion battery packs. 3. Build predictive models for vehicle energy consumption and dynamic charging station demand to optimize fleet efficiency and grid loads. 4. Architect anomaly detection pipelines using autoencoders or convolutional architectures to forecast component failures before they occur. 5. Author, structure, and refine comprehensive technical manuscripts for publication in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
