Founder from Lifeskills Organization on Values and Empathy, is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Data structures and Algorithms.

This internship offers a unique opportunity for students to work across multiple disciplines—Computer Science, Mathematics, Management, Law, and Human Behavior—under the guidance of an experienced research mentor. It is designed for curious, motivated, and intellectually driven students who wish to explore research problems spanning both technical and social domains. Interns will have the freedom to select a specific research problem from a wide range of topics, including: Technical & Computational Topics: • VLSI floorplanning • Chip placement and partitioning • Rectangle and square packing problems • List update problem • Multi-processor scheduling • Graph coloring • Computational thinking–based learning models Human-Centered & Behavioral Topics: • Models for human-centered learning • Cognitive and performance psychology • Healthy aging and digital stress management Law, Society & Policy Topics: • Human rights in the digital world • Right to Information in the Indian context • Digital entrepreneurship Interns will conduct literature surveys, identify research gaps, participate in guided discussions, and engage in analytical thinking to understand the interdisciplinary nature of these problems. This internship emphasizes independent learning, structured research habits, and strong communication skills. Roles & Responsibilities • Commit 30 minutes to 1 hour daily to research work • Attend weekly online Zoom meetings with the supervising professor • Maintain regular email communication • Conduct literature reviews and prepare summaries • Explore research papers, analyze problems, and document insights • Demonstrate curiosity, discipline, punctuality, integrity, and commitment throughout the internship What Students Will Gain By the end of the internship, students will develop: • Experience in conducting literature surveys and analyzing interdisciplinary research topics • Enhanced mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Strong reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking abilities • Exposure to advanced concepts in computer science, social sciences, management, and digital law • A deeper understanding of how technology interacts with society, psychology, and policy • Research habits useful for future academic or industry roles Exceptional candidates may also receive Letters of Recommendation (LOR) and opportunities to co-author research outputs with the professor. Who Can Apply Students from Computer Science, Mathematics, Management, Law, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Social Sciences, Behavioral Science, Information Science, and related fields are eligible to apply. Applicants with strong mathematical, analytical, or programming skills, along with a genuine passion for learning and exploring interdisciplinary problems, will be highly preferred.
