Senior Assistant Professor from Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Data Analytics.
This internship focuses on using digital analytics and crowdsourced data to study public awareness, engagement, and understanding of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. Interns will explore how people recognise and interact with heritage sites and what digital patterns reveal about cultural awareness across regions. The duration of this internship is 6 months but it can be extended upto 8 months. Interns will work on crowdsourced data collection, survey design and distribution, field-based interactions, and dataset preparation for analysis. The work includes supporting digital outreach, coordinating participant engagement, and contributing to basic analytics and visualisation using tools such as Google Forms, Google Sheets, and simple statistical methods. Interns will gain exposure to crowdsourcing, survey-based research, basic data analytics, and interdisciplinary research connecting cultural heritage with digital analysis. Key Responsibilities will include: 1. Collecting and documenting crowdsourced and survey data 2. Designing and distributing surveys 3. Supporting field-based interactions and participant engagement 4. Organising datasets and assisting with basic analytics and visualisation
