Assistant Professor from Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (NIT Jalandhar), is accepting candidates interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Artificial intelligence and Machine learning.

This research internship focuses on the development and evaluation of deep learning models and advanced AI architectures for research applications. Interns will conduct literature reviews to identify open research problems and gaps, assist with problem formulation and methodology design, and implement deep learning models using Python and PyTorch. The research will involve working with CNNs, Transformers, Attention Mechanisms, Mamba/State Space Models, and related architectures, along with preparing and preprocessing datasets for AI and computer vision experiments. Interns will design and conduct comparative experiments and ablation studies, analyze results using appropriate evaluation metrics, and reproduce and critically evaluate existing research work. The role also includes contributing to research paper writing, technical documentation, presentations, and the exploration of novel research ideas with potential for conference or journal publication.
