Associate Professor, Department of Department of Computer Applications, from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Artificial intelligence and Machine learning.

This internship offers an interdisciplinary research opportunity at the intersection of public health, environmental science, and data science. Interns will be involved in the collection of hospital-based data related to lung cancer cases, with a focus on structuring and organizing datasets for subsequent analysis of correlations with indoor air pollution exposure. Key responsibilities include: 1. Collecting relevant clinical and environmental data from hospital sources 2. Structuring datasets for statistical and computational analysis 3. Assisting in the assessment of environmental risk factors (e.g., PM2.5, household smoke, etc.) 4. Supporting the development of insights for public health impact studies
