This internship focuses on the integration of disruptive technologies with modern manufacturing processes to enhance process efficiency, productivity, quality, and overall performance. Interns will explore the application of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Digital Twins, and Metaverse technologies within manufacturing environments. The work will involve studying existing manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for technology integration, and exploring technology-driven approaches to improve process monitoring, optimization, automation, decision-making, and operational performance. The internship provides exposure to smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies, digital transformation, and advanced manufacturing systems, with applications across processes including casting, welding, and forming.
