Assistant Professor from Indian Institute of Technology - Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad (IIT-ISM Dhanbad), is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science, in the research area of Quantum Machine Learning.
Quantum machine learning (QML) is an emerging interdisciplinary field that combines quantum computing and classical machine learning. This internship focuses on exposure to QML concepts within the context of industrial engineering and computational research. The internship relates to common knowledge areas associated with QML, including linear algebra and probability, machine learning and deep learning, algorithms and optimisation, and programming using tools such as Python and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane). Not all of these skills are required, and curiosity and interest in the field are considered more important. Interns will gain exposure to interdisciplinary concepts related to quantum machine learning and its connection to machine learning and computational methods.
