About Internship

Assistant Professor from Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, India, is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Computational Science.

This internship focuses on the design, development, and application of Evolutionary Computation (EC) algorithms for solving complex computational problems. Interns will work on developing new EC algorithms and/or building practical applications using existing evolutionary techniques. The work involves algorithmic research, experimentation, performance evaluation, and documentation, with an emphasis on applying computational intelligence methods to real-world problem domains. Key Responsibilities Include : 1. Studying fundamentals and recent advances in Evolutionary Computation algorithms 2. Designing and implementing new EC algorithms or modifying existing ones 3. Developing applications based on evolutionary algorithms for optimization or problem-solving tasks 4. Conducting experiments to evaluate algorithm performance and efficiency 5. Analyzing results and comparing outcomes with baseline or existing methods 6. Documenting algorithms, methodologies, and experimental findings 7. Preparing technical reports and presentations under mentor guidance By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to: 1. Understand core concepts and frameworks of Evolutionary Computation 2. Design and implement EC algorithms for computational problem-solving 3. Apply evolutionary algorithms to real-world optimization and decision-making problems 4. Evaluate and interpret algorithmic performance using computational metrics 5. Gain experience in research-oriented programming and experimentation 6. Develop skills in technical documentation and scientific communication
