About Internship

Director, Department of Research and Development Cell, from Guru Kashi University, Punjab, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biotechnology, in the research area of Medical Biotechnology.

Selected interns will get to work on a project pertaining to In Vitro Fertilisation and infertility. Age is one of the elements that affect male fertility, however it is still up for debate how much semen quality declines with age. Although men continue to generate sperm throughout their lives, aging may affect factors including motility and total sperm count, which could lower fertility. The similar conditions are seen in young females whose ova reserves are declining for many unknown reasons. The duration of the internship will be 1 year.
