Assistant Professor from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, is accepting interns interested in the field of Electronics Engineering, in the research area of Wireless Communication.
This internship focuses on adaptive beamforming in 5G and next-generation wireless communication. Interns will explore how beamforming improves signal directionality, reduces interference, and enhances spectral efficiency. Interns will work with core concepts related to beamforming algorithms, antenna systems, and Massive MIMO. The internship includes basic simulation and testing of beamforming techniques using MATLAB or Python, along with exposure to mmWave and sub-THz communication. By the end of the internship, interns will gain hands-on exposure to beamforming concepts and wireless system simulations. Key Responsibilities will include: 1. Studying fundamentals of beamforming and antenna systems 2. Assisting with simulation and testing of beamforming techniques 3. Supporting basic analysis of signal directionality and interference
