Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, is accepting interns interested in the field of Electronics Engineering, in the research area of Wireless Communication.
This internship focuses on adaptive beamforming techniques for 5G and beyond wireless communication. Interns will explore methods to improve signal directionality, interference mitigation, and spectral efficiency using smart antenna systems and machine learning-driven optimization. The key learning areas include fundamentals of beamforming algorithms and antenna design, application of Massive MIMO in 5G networks, aimulation & testing of beamforming architectures using MATLAB/Python, and understanding mmWave and sub-THz communication for next-gen wireless networks. Interns will gain hands-on experience in optimizing beamforming performance for real-world applications, contributing to advancements in 5G and future wireless technologies.
