Assistant Professor from Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad), is accepting interns interested in the field of Mechanical Engineering, in the research area of Mechatronics .
Selected interns will work on developing an experimental setup to analyse an oscillating wing in a 30 cm × 30 cm wind tunnel at IIT Dharwad. The project involves designing a setup for a flat plate thin airfoil wing that requires internal heating and supports oscillatory motion. Interns will explore the required functionalities and create a CAD model of the complete experimental setup. Interns will gain exposure to experimental setup design, CAD modelling, and mechanical system planning for wind tunnel experiments. Key Responsibilities will include: 1. CAD modelling of the experimental setup 2. Selection of components for the actuation mechanism 3. Generating a bill of materials for procurement
