Assistant Professor from MGM College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Maharashtra, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biotechnology, in the research area of Environmental Biotechnology.
This internship focuses on mushroom biotechnology with emphasis on sustainable and environmental applications. Interns will engage in basic and applied research related to mushroom cultivation, metabolite extraction, and laboratory protocol development. The project explores methods for product development derived from mushrooms and examines their environmental and commercial potential within the framework of environmental biotechnology. Interns will gain exposure to mushroom cultivation, metabolite extraction, protocol development, and sustainability-focused biotechnological research. Key Responsibilities will include: 1. Working on mushroom cultivation and optimisation techniques 2. Assisting with extraction and analysis of bioactive metabolites 3. Supporting development and standardisation of laboratory protocols 4. Contributing to research-based product formulation tasks 5. Engaging with environmental and sustainability aspects of mushroom biotechnology
