Associate Professor from Raghu Engineering College, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Electrical Engineering, in the research area of Electrical Vehicles.
In this work, we develop an optimized fractional-order PID (FOPID) controller using metaheuristic optimization techniques or Artificial Intelligence models to enhance the performance of regenerative braking systems in electric vehicles. The proposed approach mainly aims to improve: • Energy recovery efficiency • Dynamic braking response • System stability under varying operating conditions This work represents a significant step toward intelligent energy management in EV systems, combining control theory with AI-based optimization. Interns will contribute to the development, simulation, optimization, and evaluation of the proposed control approach, gaining practical exposure to FOPID control, regenerative braking, optimization techniques, AI-based control, and electric vehicle energy management systems.
