Assistant Professor from Manipal University Jaipur, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Cyber Security.

This internship focuses on research in deepfake detection, face recognition, and AI bias. Interns will conduct literature reviews, collect, preprocess, and analyze image/video datasets, and develop and evaluate deep learning models for deepfake detection. The research will investigate demographic and dataset-related biases in detection systems and involve experiments using Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, and related tools, along with quantitative evaluation using appropriate performance and fairness metrics. Interns will document experimental results, maintain reproducible research records, participate in weekly research discussions and progress reviews, and contribute to research paper preparation, including methodology, experiments, and analysis. The internship will follow research ethics, data-privacy, and responsible-AI practices. Candidates making substantial research contributions may be considered for co-authorship in resulting publications, subject to standard authorship guidelines. Publication-related APC support may be considered for eligible Q1 publications, subject to institutional/research policies and journal requirements.
