Visiting Faculty , Department of Healthcare Management, from Chitkara University, Punjab, is accepting interns interested in the field of Psychology & Sociology, in the research area of Mental health, Clinical psychology, Gender-focused research.
This internship is designed for highly motivated students with a keen interest in clinical psychology, mental health, and gender-focused research. Interns will be involved in ongoing empirical projects that examine psychosocial dimensions of mental health, with particular emphasis on women's health, aging populations, and caregiving contexts. The work will include designing data collection instruments, conducting field-based or remote data collection, and engaging in both qualitative and quantitative analysis. A significant component of the internship will involve developing and refining research tools, contributing to literature reviews, and participating in the preparation of academic manuscripts, policy briefs, and advocacy reports. Interns demonstrating a high level of rigour and contribution may be offered opportunities to co-author research publications. Applicants with prior exposure to research methodology, particularly in psychology or the social sciences, will be preferred. Familiarity with survey design, ethical protocols in human subjects research, and statistical software (e.g., SPSS) will be considered an asset. The internship is structured to build research competence and scholarly writing skills in a mentored environment and is ideal for students at the advanced undergraduate or graduate level seeking substantive research experience. A distinctive feature of this internship is the opportunity to collaborate with faculty and researchers affiliated with multiple UK-based universities, thereby gaining valuable international exposure and insights into cross-cultural and comparative research frameworks.
