Professor, Department of Business Management, from School of Management Sciences, Varanasi, is accepting interns interested in the field of Marketing, in the research area of Branding and Brand Management .
This internship will help the interns explore the psychological dimensions of brand ownership in today’s competitive, discount-driven market. The study aims to investigate whether consumers still derive a sense of pride and identity from the brands they choose or if purchasing decisions are now primarily influenced by price and availability. Interns will examine whether this behavior is consistent across all product categories or limited to specific segments. The project involves literature review, consumer surveys, and data analysis, providing insights into evolving brand-consumer relationships in the era of commoditization and mass choice.
