This research internship focuses on exploring themes of memory, cultural identity, and historical consciousness in Indian Writing in English. Interns will engage in selected research projects examining literary texts through critical, theoretical, and cultural perspectives. The internship emphasizes close textual analysis, thematic exploration, and scholarly engagement with contemporary and canonical Indian authors writing in English. Key Responsibilities 1. Conducting in-depth textual analysis of selected literary works 2. Reviewing scholarly literature related to memory studies and cultural theory 3. Assisting in research projects under academic supervision 4. Identifying thematic patterns related to identity, diaspora, trauma, and collective memory 5. Contributing to research documentation, annotations, and draft preparation 6. Participating in discussions and periodic research reviews Learning Outcomes 1.
