About Internship

Professor from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada), is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Cyber Security.

This Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is dedicated for developing Autonomous Cybersecurity frameworks that leverage Artificial Intelligence to identify and neutralize threats in real-time. Moving beyond traditional rule-based defenses, this project utilizes Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) to analyze massive datasets, detect subtle anomalies in network traffic, and automate the mitigation of sophisticated cyber-attacks. The intern will work on architecting self-healing security systems designed to outpace the speed of modern digital threats. The duration of this internship is 6 months but can be extended upto 12 months depending on the requirements of the project. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Candidates must hold an M.Tech/M.E./MS(Research) or a 5-year Dual Degree in CSE, IT, AI, or Data Science with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA). 2. Proficiency in Python (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and a strong background in Machine Learning or Cybersecurity analytics. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement Deep Learning architectures specifically for intrusion detection and threat classification. 2. Perform deep-dive log analysis and cybersecurity telemetry to identify patterns indicative of malicious activity. 3. Execute end-to-end data preprocessing, ensuring security datasets are optimized for training and validation. 4. Prototype automated defense protocols that trigger response actions to neutralize threats without manual intervention. 5. Conduct rigorous benchmarking of AI models to ensure high detection accuracy and low false-positive rates.
