Professor from SKUAST-Kashmir, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Biochemistry, in the research area of Genetics.
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to research involving the development of regression models for determining elemental composition using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis of beans. Interns will work with XRF-generated elemental data to understand the composition of different bean samples and develop statistical and computational models for predicting elemental concentrations. The work will involve sample analysis, data collection and organization, preprocessing of experimental data, regression model development, and interpretation of model results. Interns will also assist in evaluating model performance and identifying patterns in elemental composition across samples. The internship provides hands-on exposure to scientific laboratory practices, XRF-based elemental analysis, quantitative data analysis, regression modeling, and research documentation, within the broader context of biochemistry and genetic diversity research.
