Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical chemistry, from Vishwakarma university, is accepting interns interested in the field of Chemistry, in the research area of Computational chemistry.
This internship focuses on computational approaches to drug discovery, specifically targeting breast cancer. Key activities include high-throughput virtual screening of chemical databases, molecular descriptor analysis, and quantum chemical (DFT) calculations. Interns will develop and validate QSAR models, explore structure-activity relationships (SAR) of diverse functional groups, and perform pharmacokinetic data assessments (ADMET profiling). Additional work includes molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, and energy profile analysis. The project also covers lead compound design, synthetic route planning with process chemistry considerations, and preparation of candidates for in vitro evaluation.
