About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, from Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (IIT-BHU Varanasi), is accepting interns interested in the field of Civil Engineering, in the research area of Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering.

This internship provides hands-on experience in advanced topics of hydraulics and water resources engineering. Interns will engage in research projects focused on riverbank infiltration processes, turbulent flow dynamics in open channels, and the design and performance assessment of energy dissipators used in dams and spillways. The work involves data analysis, mathematical modeling, and application of specialized tools such as ARC GIS and MATLAB. Interns will collaborate with faculty and researchers to contribute to ongoing studies and gain exposure to real-world water resources challenges.
