Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science Engineering, from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr.Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Image Processing.

This internship offers a hands-on research opportunity in the field of medical image analysis, with a specific focus on the early detection of brain tumors using advanced computational techniques. Interns will work at the intersection of computer science and medical imaging, contributing to the development and evaluation of algorithms that assist in identifying early-stage brain abnormalities from MRI and CT scans. The primary goal of this research project is to enhance diagnostic accuracy and reduce detection time through the application of image processing, machine learning, and deep learning methodologies. Interns will engage in tasks such as image pre-processing, feature extraction, segmentation of tumor regions, and the implementation of classification models. This position shall accept interns with a strong foundation in computer vision, signal processing, or AI/ML who are passionate about contributing to healthcare innovation.
