This research internship explores the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies with modern manufacturing systems to improve productivity, quality, reliability, and resource efficiency. Candidates will be introduced to areas including Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems, cloud computing, data analytics, intelligent manufacturing, and maintenance engineering. The internship also examines the application of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for developing systematic, data driven maintenance frameworks aimed at reducing equipment downtime and optimizing maintenance resources. The programme is designed to provide exposure to practical, sustainable, and technology driven approaches to contemporary manufacturing challenges.
