Associate Professor from DC school of Architecture and Design, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Sociology, in the research area of Rural and Urban Society .
This internship introduces candidates to the intersection of sociology, urban studies, spatial research, and computational methods. Candidates will examine how social, cultural, environmental, and technological factors influence the identity and development of urban spaces. Through research, case studies, mapping, AI-assisted analysis, and iterative computational methods, participants will explore existing and emerging patterns of city development. The internship will encourage candidates to develop conceptual urban models and investigate how AI and computational tools can be used to generate, analyze, and refine possible future scenarios for cities and communities.
