Co-Guide Ph.D. Scholar, Department of Department of Ethnomusicology/Performing Arts, from MIT , PUNE, is accepting interns interested in the field of Sociology, in the research area of Decoding the songs of Ethiopia- Part 1.
Ethiopia, a true haven for vibrant folk culture, has been the focus of our field work, particularly the treasure trove of songs passed down orally through generations. Through this internship opportunity, the selected intern will develop an understanding of cultural heritage of Ethiopia and the human interaction with society, exploring the emotions and expressions conveyed through the timeless folk songs of Africa. We seek to amplify the voices that have echoed across Ethiopia's landscapes, ensuring they continue to inspire and enrich our understanding of the human experience.
If you have 3 years research experience in Ethnomusicology or Anthropology or other Social Sciences, you are eligible for the internship.
