About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, from REVA University, Bangalore, is accepting interns interested in the field of Mechanical Engineering, in the research area of Heat and Mass Transfer, & Energy Systems.

The selected intern will get an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research focused on the future of clean transportation. The project centers on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (HFCVs) and the critical role of hydrogen refuelling stations in supporting their widespread adoption. Interns will assist in a comprehensive techno-economic evaluation of a hydrogen refuelling station that generates hydrogen on-site through water electrolysis and utilizes advanced storage and dispensing systems. The study explores key scenarios including various electricity sources, fluctuating renewable energy prices, and different liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) options. A cost-optimization model is used to assess system performance and minimize overall expenses. Students will gain exposure to sustainable energy technologies, system modeling, and economic analysis, with a focus on identifying scalable, cost-effective solutions for hydrogen infrastructure.
