Assistant Professor from Vishwakarma University, Pune, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Psychology, in the research area of Positive Psychology at Workplace.
This internship focuses on research in Positive Psychology at the Workplace, examining factors such as employee well-being, resilience, work engagement, job satisfaction, optimism, and strengths-based approaches. The study is primarily qualitative in nature and involves direct interaction with participants in workplace settings. Interns will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, assisting in research design, collecting and organizing data, maintaining field records, preparing research reports, and contributing to publications and presentations. A major component of the internship involves face-to-face data collection using paper-and-pencil assessments and qualitative interviews. Selected candidates must obtain the necessary permissions and approvals from relevant organizational authorities before conducting data collection. They will be expected to interact professionally with participants on a one-to-one basis, ensure ethical research practices, maintain confidentiality, and follow all research protocols. Candidates should be committed to taking responsibility for fieldwork, meeting project deadlines, maintaining regular follow-up with participants and organizations, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. The internship offers valuable exposure to real-world behavioral research, workplace psychology, and qualitative research methodologies. Desired Skills/Knowledge/Techniques: • Strong interest in Positive Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or Behavioral Research • Knowledge of research methodology and qualitative research techniques • Ability to conduct face-to-face interviews and paper-pencil assessments • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Fluency in Hindi, Marathi, and English (spoken and written) • Ability to establish rapport with participants and organizational stakeholders • Literature review, report writing, and documentation skills • Basic data management and analysis skills • Willingness to undertake field visits and data collection responsibilities
