About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Economics , from Christ University, Bengaluru, is accepting interns interested in the field of Economics, in the research area of Behavioural Economics.

This internship offers an opportunity to engage in applied research at the intersection of gender, behavioural economics, and sustainable development. Interns will contribute to evidence-based policy and program design by examining how behavioural insights can drive equitable and sustainable outcomes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct in-depth research and literature reviews on gender and behavioural economics in development contexts. 2. Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support policy-relevant findings. 3. Assist in drafting policy briefs, reports, and academic-style papers. 4. Support the design and execution of capacity-building activities, including workshops, seminars, and stakeholder consultations. 5. Coordinate with project teams, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and knowledge dissemination. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: 1. Strong academic background in economics, public policy, social sciences, or related fields. 2. Proven skills in literature review, report writing, and synthesizing academic/policy research. 3. Ability to critically analyze gender-related issues and behavioural patterns in development. 4. Familiarity with behavioural economics concepts such as nudges, choice architecture, and decision-making biases. 5. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
