About Internship

Assistant Professor from MGM University, India, is accepting interns interested in the field of Forensic science , in the research area of Forensic chemistry and toxicology .

This internship offers students an opportunity to explore the scientific foundations of forensic criminology with a focus on forensic chemistry and toxicology. The program is designed to introduce interns to how chemical and toxicological evidence is used in criminal investigations, legal proceedings, and forensic research. Emphasis is placed on understanding crime through scientific analysis, interpretation of forensic data, and scholarly research. During the internship, students will: 1. Study core concepts of forensic criminology, forensic chemistry, and toxicology as applied to criminal investigations. 2. Conduct detailed literature reviews on topics such as chemical analysis of forensic evidence, toxic substances, drugs, poisons, and their medico-legal implications. 3. Analyze case studies and published forensic reports to understand the role of chemical and toxicological evidence in crime reconstruction. 4. Assist in identifying research gaps and formulating research questions in forensic science. 5. Work on drafting, editing, and structuring research articles, review papers, or case-based studies suitable for academic publication. 6. Participate in regular discussions with the research mentor to refine research ideas and improve scientific writing skills. By the end of the internship, interns will gain: 1. A strong conceptual understanding of forensic chemistry, toxicology, and their relevance to criminology. 2. Hands-on experience in academic research, critical analysis of scientific literature, and scholarly writing. 3. Exposure to the process of preparing research articles and papers for publication in forensic science journals.
