About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering, from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur), is accepting interns interested in the field of Environmental Science, in the research area of Agriculture & Food Security.

This internship focuses on designing and developing an IoT-based, low-cost water quality monitoring system to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of aquaponics. The project integrates environmental science, agriculture, and food security concepts to monitor parameters such as pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen in real time. Interns will work on system design, sensor integration, data acquisition, and analysis, contributing to the creation of a scalable solution that supports sustainable food production systems.
