The Li-ion Battery Materials Research offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the development and characterization of lithium-ion battery materials. The project combines experimental and computational approaches to investigate advanced materials for next-generation energy storage systems, with the aim of improving battery performance, efficiency, and reliability. As part of the research team, interns will participate in laboratory experiments, material synthesis and characterization, computational analysis, data interpretation, and the documentation of research findings. The role provides hands-on experience in interdisciplinary research, enabling candidates to develop expertise in battery materials, materials characterization techniques, and computational methods while contributing to ongoing research in sustainable energy technologies. Candidates should possess basic laboratory skills, an interest in experimental and computational research, analytical and problem-solving abilities, scientific documentation and report writing skills, and a strong motivation to pursue research in Li-ion battery materials, metallurgy, materials science, and mechanical engineering.
