Professor, Department of Biotechnology and Research, from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biotechnology, in the research area of Diseases .
An opening for one JRF position is available, in a CSIR funded project for a period of 3 years. The project is entitled "Exploring therapeutic potential of nootropics in cell-based models of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis." The project will be carried out in the Department of Biotechnology and Research at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a motor neurone disease. We have established cell-based models for the disease in the lab, and currently exploiting it to look for therapeutics. This project aims to screen for effective molecules which can help the patients suffering from this fatal disease.
