About Internship

Consultant Surgeon from Nasser Institute Hospital for Treatment and Research, Egypt, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biology, in the research area of Surgery- Oncology.

The selected candidates will participate in clinical and research activities centered around the role of neoadjuvant therapy in breast cancer treatment. Research assistants (RAs) will work alongside experienced surgical oncologists and research professionals, gaining firsthand exposure to the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer. RAs will be involved in assisting with patient data collection and analysis, reviewing relevant clinical literature, and observing how neoadjuvant therapies influence surgical planning, tumor response assessment, and overall treatment strategies. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the integration between preoperative therapies and surgical interventions in improving patient outcomes. This program is particularly suited for students with an interest in oncology and clinical research, offering valuable practical experience and academic insight into one of the most dynamic areas of modern cancer care.
