Associate Professor from Institute of Genetic Engineering, West Bengal, India, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biotechnology, in the research area of Molecular biology.
This internship focuses on exploring the role of serotonergic system genes as potential susceptibility factors for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Interns will assist in literature review, data organization, and analysis related to gene expression, molecular pathways, and genetic variations associated with the serotonergic system. They may support laboratory-based or in-silico investigations depending on project requirements. Interns will work closely with the research team to understand molecular mechanisms involved in neurodevelopmental disorders, contribute to drafting sections of research reports, and participate in discussions on experimental design.
