Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, from Sri budha college of engineering, is accepting interns interested in the field of Chemical Engineering, in the research area of Advanced Separation Techniques.
This internship focuses on the removal of heavy metals from wastewater using activated carbon derived from date seeds—a sustainable and low-cost adsorbent. The project explores adsorption-based separation techniques to treat industrial and domestic wastewater, making it suitable for applications such as agricultural irrigation. Interns will be involved in experimental design, material preparation, batch adsorption studies, and analysis of adsorption efficiency, contributing to the development of eco-friendly water treatment solutions.
