Prof & Head (Rtd) from G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, India, is accepting interns interested in the field of Environmental Science, in the research area of Agronomy.

This internship offers interns an opportunity to gain conceptual and applied knowledge in core areas of agronomy through structured online learning and academic engagement. The program focuses on understanding sustainable crop production practices, efficient resource utilization, and management strategies essential for modern agriculture, particularly in water-limited and dryland environments. During the internship period, interns will participate in a series of expert-led online lectures covering topics such as nutrient management strategies for different cropping systems, efficient irrigation water management techniques, weed control methods, and agronomic practices suitable for dryland agriculture. These sessions will introduce both traditional and modern approaches used to improve crop productivity while maintaining soil health and environmental sustainability. Students from Agronomy, Agriculture, Horticulture, Soil Science, Environmental Science, Agricultural Engineering, and related disciplines are eligible to apply.
