GeophysicsAbout Internship
Professor, Department of Department of Physics , from LaxmiNarayan College of Technology (LNCT), is accepting interns interested in the field of Physics, in the research area of Geophysics.
This internship focuses on the study of seismic electromagnetic (EM) phenomena, which involve the generation and variation of electromagnetic signals associated with seismic activities such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. These signals are being explored as potential precursors or correlated effects of seismic events, making them a promising area of research for earthquake prediction and geophysical monitoring. Interns will engage with interdisciplinary methods combining geophysics, electromagnetism, and data analysis, and will contribute to ongoing investigations into how EM signals can enhance early warning systems and risk assessment models.
