Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, from Atria University, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biochemistry, in the research area of Biochemistry.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student intern to join our research team focused on single cell bacterial detection. This position is ideal for a students currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Microbiology with a strong background in Chemistry. The intern will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research that aims to advance our understanding and techniques for detecting bacterial cells at the single-cell level. Key Responsibilities: Experimental Design and Execution: Assist in designing and conducting experiments related to single cell bacterial detection, including sample preparation, bacterial culture, and application of detection techniques. Data Collection and Analysis: Perform assays and experiments to detect and quantify bacterial cells at the single-cell level. Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and software. Technique Development: Contribute to the development and optimization of new techniques or improvements to existing methods for bacterial detection. This may include working with advanced microscopy, fluorescence, or other analytical techniques. Laboratory Maintenance: Ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated. Follow standard operating procedures for safety and quality control. Literature Review: Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the fields of microbiology and chemistry relevant to single cell detection. Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and analyses. Prepare reports and presentations for internal meetings and potential publications.
