About Internship

Scientist, Department of Natural Dyes, from Shri AMM Murugappa Chettiar Research Centre, Tamil Nadu, is accepting interns interested in the field of Environmental Science, in the research area of Environmental nanotechnology.

This research internship in Environmental Nanotechnology focuses on the synthesis and application of nanoparticles for wastewater treatment. The project involves developing novel nanomaterials with enhanced adsorption properties to efficiently remove heavy metals and other contaminants from industrial effluents. Emphasis is placed on green synthesis methods, material characterization, and evaluating adsorption performance through laboratory-scale experiments. The research aims to contribute to sustainable water purification technologies by exploring cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions. Interns will gain hands-on experience in nanomaterial fabrication, analytical techniques, and data analysis, preparing them for advanced research or careers in environmental science and nanotechnology. Candidates with an understanding of Data Analysis shall be preferred.
