About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Botany,Public Health, Zoology, from Shree Ramkrishna Institute of Computer Education & Applied Sciences Sarvajanik University Surat, is accepting interns interested in the field of Biology, in the research area of Human Physiology.

The study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), a severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) that affects emotional and physical health. Interns will engage in research, awareness campaigns, and possible patient interactions to contribute to the growing body of knowledge and advocacy for PMDD. Key Responsibilities:- 1. Research & Data Analysis- Review existing literature on PMDD to identify gaps in understanding. - Assist in collecting and analyzing data from surveys or clinical studies. - Contribute to the development of reports or presentations on findings. 2. Awareness & Advocacy - Design informative materials (brochures, social media posts, videos) to educate the public about PMDD. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to organize workshops or webinars for awareness. - Participate in campaigns focused on reducing stigma and improving access to treatment for PMDD. 3. Skill Development - Learn how to evaluate diagnostic tools like the DSM-5 criteria for PMDD. - Understand therapeutic approaches, including medication, counseling, and lifestyle interventions. Learning Outcomes - Comprehensive knowledge of PMDD, its symptoms, and its impact on women's lives. - Practical experience in conducting research and advocacy work related to women's mental and physical health.
