About Internship

Professor and Director of Research, Department of Department of Science & Integrated Studies, from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science, in the research area of Data Science.

Interns are required to develop data assimilation techniques using Machine Learning algorithm for predicting Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of lithium ion battery and a turbo fan engine. Physical models of these systems will be developed. Using this model driven based RUL estimation, a digital twin for RUL estimation technique will be developed and using that, Remaining Useful Life of lithium ion battery system and turbo fan engine system will be developed. Uncertainty estimation of RUL will be quantified by probabilistic Machine Learning algorithm.
