This research opportunity focuses on the development of prototypes using edge-embedded AI systems for real-world applications. The work will involve designing and developing embedded AI solutions for applications across areas such as agriculture, seismology, wildlife monitoring, and free-space communication. Candidates will work across heterogeneous computing platforms, including FPGA, ARM, and Intel-based systems, and contribute to both hardware and software development. The role requires strong hands-on skills in hardware prototyping and embedded system development, along with software development experience at both the firmware and application levels.
