About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, from Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science , is accepting interns interested in the field of Sociology, in the research area of Minority and Marginalised communities .

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with communities that have historically been marginalized and underrepresented. Interns will engage in meaningful projects aimed at empowering minorities and marginalized groups, with a focus on promoting social equity, inclusion, and justice. Interns will be involved in a variety of tasks, including conducting research on social issues affecting marginalized groups, supporting community outreach programs, and assisting in the development of resources and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those facing systemic disadvantages. They will have the chance to work with grassroots organizations, policymakers, and activists, gaining insight into the challenges and opportunities for positive change in marginalized communities. Additionally, the internship will provide opportunities for professional development through workshops, mentoring, and networking events, helping interns build a strong foundation for a career dedicated to social justice.
