About Internship

Associate professor rtd from Lady Brabourne College , is accepting candidates interested in the field of Sociology, in the research area of Women, Feminism and Gender Issues .

The internship offers an opportunity to contribute to a qualitative research project examining the emerging trend of reverse migration from urban to rural areas, with a particular focus on women's experiences, perspectives, and challenges. The study seeks to understand the social, economic, and cultural factors influencing reverse migration and its impact on women's lives and livelihoods. Interns will assist with fieldwork, qualitative data collection, social media-based research and outreach, interviews, data organization, and thematic analysis using open-source qualitative research software. They will also contribute to research documentation, literature reviews, and report writing while gaining practical experience in qualitative research methodologies and community-based research. Successful candidates should possess qualitative research skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, an aptitude for social media and fieldwork, proficiency in open-source qualitative research software, and an interest in gender studies, migration, and social science research.
