About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Earthquake Engineering, from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), is accepting interns interested in the field of Earth Planetary Sciences, in the research area of Geophysics.

This internship offers an opportunity to engage in advanced geophysical instrumentation, focusing on the calibration of seismometers. Selected candidates will contribute to enhancing the precision and reliability of seismic data through hands-on calibration procedures, experimental analysis, and methodological improvements. Applicants with a Master’s or PhD background in Earth and Planetary Sciences, particularly with prior experience in seismic instrument calibration, are strongly encouraged to apply.
