Assistant Professor from ERODE SENGUNTHAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE , is accepting candidates interested in the field of Computer Science, in the research area of Artificial intelligence and Machine learning.
This research internship focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning for early breast cancer detection through medical image analysis. Interns will contribute to research involving the processing and analysis of medical imaging data and the development of AI-based models for accurate and reliable cancer detection. The work will involve literature review, medical image dataset preprocessing, image enhancement, implementation and training of CNN- and Transformer-based models, model evaluation and performance comparison, and explainability analysis. Interns will also document experimental findings and contribute to the preparation of research reports and scientific manuscripts, gaining practical experience in deep learning, medical image processing, computer vision, and explainable AI.
