Assistant Professor from Mangalayatan University, India, is accepting interns interested in the field of Chemistry, in the research area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry .

This internship focuses on pharmaceutical chemistry with an emphasis on gastric drugs, including agents used in the treatment of acid-related disorders and gastrointestinal conditions. The programme is designed to introduce students to the scientific principles behind drug discovery, formulation, and evaluation of gastric therapeutics through guided research and literature-based learning. During the internship, students will: 1. Conduct a comprehensive literature review on gastric drugs such as antacids, proton pump inhibitors, H? receptor antagonists, and gastroprotective agents. 2. Study the chemical structures, synthesis routes, and mechanisms of action of commonly used gastric drugs. 3. Analyze pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic aspects relevant to gastrointestinal drug delivery. 4. Assist in compiling data related to drug efficacy, safety profiles, and recent advances in gastric drug research. 5. Participate in research documentation and scientific writing, including preparation of summaries and reports. 6. Support the research team in project-related and academic activities under supervision. By the end of the internship, students will gain: 1. A strong conceptual understanding of gastric drug chemistry and therapeutic applications. 2. Exposure to drug development and evaluation concepts in pharmaceutical chemistry. 3. Experience in scientific literature analysis and research writing. 4. Improved analytical and critical-thinking skills relevant to pharmaceutical research. 5.
